知情人士说，国务院拟让国有银行向地方国资贷款，买下待售商品住宅作为保障房，现正向各地区各部门征求意见。方案的细节和可行性尚在论证，可能要花数月才能起草完。
去年央行试点向青岛、福州等8城提供租赁住房贷款支持计划，购入商品住宅，用收到的租金付息；但央行一季度披露，上述计划只贷出了20亿元。
此外，杭州临安区住建局5月14日公告，征集“收购商品住房用作公共租赁住房”供应商，要求是现房或一年内交付的期房，整幢收购，单套面积小于70㎡，配车位。本次收购房源面积原则不超过1万平米。
