今天我與柯志恩教授、曹桓榮局長一同到高雄探望幾位好朋友，在創世基金會高雄分院的陪同下，我們前來拜訪一戶植物人家庭，這些家屬長期面臨照護植物人的壓力，有許多心聲渴望能被政府單位聽見，我們除了送上年菜與物資聊表微薄的心意，也希望藉由我們的關心，能喚起社會大眾更加重視植物人的權益與照護。

接著我們來到鳳山紅十字慈暉園關心園區內的身心障礙朋友，慈暉園成立至今已經將近40個年頭，我在擔任高雄市長時期曾協助修繕園內設備，如今看到園內的大朋友們得到妥善照顧、也感到相當欣慰。我常說「孩子的教育不能等」，尤其是先天教育資源較弱勢的小朋友，更需要社會特別的重視，今天我們也到紅十字育幼院來關心小朋友的教育狀況、同時了解院方在營運上有沒有需要協助的地方，看到小朋友們充滿活力地奔跑，除了為他們感到開心，也暗自期許我們這些做大人的、能夠為孩子撐起一片安心學習的天地。

很高興在過年前回高雄，探望掛念已久的孩子們、並聽聽基層朋友的心聲，「莫忘世上苦人多」不僅是一句口號，更需要你我親身去關心、去傾聽，希望今天送上的微薄物資能帶給高雄的老朋友們一些溫暖，也希望大家在新的一年、行有餘力之時，也能多關懷身邊需要幫助的人，讓我們一起努力，將愛與溫暖持續散播到更多角落！

China’s stock markets are some of the largest in the world, with total market capitalization reaching RMB 79 trillion (US$12.2 trillion) in 2020. China’s stock markets are seen as a crucial tool for driving economic growth, in particular for financing the country’s rapidly growing high-tech sectors.Although traditionally closed off to overseas investors, China’s financial markets have gradually been loosening restrictions over the past couple of decades. At the same time, reforms have sought to make it easier for Chinese companies to list on onshore stock exchanges, and new programs have been launched in attempts to lure some of China’s most coveted overseas-listed companies back to the country.

Should You Buy Bitcoin?

In general, many financial experts support their clients’ desire to buy cryptocurrency, but they don’t recommend it unless clients express interest. “The biggest concern for us is if someone wants to invest in crypto and the investment they choose doesn’t do well, and then all of a sudden they can’t send their kids to college,” says Ian Harvey, a certified financial planner (CFP) in New York City. “Then it wasn’t worth the risk.” The speculative nature of cryptocurrency leads some planners to recommend it for clients’ “side” investments. “Some call it a Vegas account,” says Scott Hammel, a CFP in Dallas. “Let’s keep this away from our real long-term perspective, make sure it doesn’t become too large a portion of your portfolio.” In a very real sense, Bitcoin is like a single stock, and advisors wouldn’t recommend putting a sizable part of your portfolio into any one company. At most, planners suggest putting no more than 1% to 10% into Bitcoin if you’re passionate about it. “If it was one stock, you would never allocate any significant portion of your portfolio to it,” Hammel says.
