Sorry for any bugs, I'm out of time.
Quick thought :)

Here's why knowing to edit your photos is useful (not that I'm a pro at this):

Configs are usually not perfect for every lighting situation, and there will be times when the result is less than optimal no matter how you try. So in the end, you need to minimize your losses and take a photo with as little highlight and shadow clipping as possible, then doing some edit.

The result here is after spending 1 minute in snapseed: image tuning + tonal contrast

#rn8p #begonia #kernel

A kernel by @Mr_ErenK that solves the front cam issue on devices with new front cam sensor, FINALLY!!!

๐Ÿ”ด๐Ÿ”ด Compatible with MIUI 12.5 and R-OSS ROMs (Redmi Note 8 Pro Only!!!) ๐Ÿ”ด๐Ÿ”ด

Yes, it needs an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery to be flashed. Alternatively, you can search Google on how to flash custom recoveries using Fastboot.

Features:
- Can boot (Don't forget to backup boot and dtbo on recovery, so that you can restore to stock kernel incase you want.)

- Front cam working fine on gcam for new devices

- No pubg fix

- No overclocking and whatnot

- Built in ransomware and bank account sniffers (Eren needs a new Mercedes)

As with anything you flash on your own device, make sure you know what you're doing, as you're the only one responsible for what happens ๐Ÿ‘

#rn8p #begonia #BigKaka #AGC #8.x

A config for BigKaka's AGC8.8.224_V4.0
Has three additional modes tuned on main cam:
- Light and saturated
- Black and white
- Blue and red (less green) filter

You can access the modes from the top right button.

Other lenses are not tuned properly (and probably will never do it as I'm happy with burial 10)

This config is made for my personal use, using the values I am comfortable with. If you want something changed, do it yourself ;)

May work on other devices, but is not recommended :)

โ„น๏ธ GCam 9.0 and older Android versions:

While the original GCam 9.0 requires Android 14, GCam 9.0 mods should work on Android 12 and above.

Those stuck on older Android versions have to use older GCam bases (v8, v7, v6).
Enable Auxiliary lenses on OpenCam (possibly other apps):

#tutorial #root #opencam #begonia #redmi_note_8_pro

OpenCam does not detect auxiliary lenses properly on stock MIUI on RN8P, so to force enable them, try the following.

- Using any root explorer, go to
Root/etc/device features
- Make a backup of "begonia.xml"
- Open "begonia.xml"
- Look for the line that says
"Camera_aux_package_list"
- Add this line to the list
<item>net.sourceforge.opencamera</item>
- Reboot

You should now see a small icon that looks like a camera with a plus sign at the bottom.

This may work for other devices/apps but no guarantees.
There are also other values that may enable/disable certain features, but I don't think modifying them would be wise. In case anything happens (like a boot loop), restore the backup in TWRP file manager.

Tested on MIUI 12.5 A11.

Here are two images taken with two different configs.
Distance, lighting, and focus are the same on both, the different is in Luma denoising...

I know most people prefer noise-free photos, but this always comes at the cost of details (you can read the text better on the noisy one, plus the wall is actually textured but you can't see that well on the config with noise reduction enabled.

And now comes a poll, just for fun :)
