But even after checking every box, that quiet ache can remain. Maybe you’re feeling it now — tired, stretched thin, wondering why you’re still anxious or overwhelmed.

You’re not alone. And there’s nothing wrong with you.

The peace the world gives is temporary. But Jesus offers something different: “My peace I give to you — not as the world gives.” His peace isn’t dependent on your circumstances. It meets you right where you are — in the questions, the mess, the quiet ache.

So pause. Breathe. You don’t have to have it all together. Just turn to Him. His peace is real. His love is steady. And He wants to give you the peace that you're longing for.

Did you know that the cathedral of the Diocese of Rome and the official ecclesiastical seat of the Bishop of Rome is in fact 𝙉𝙊𝙏 Saint Peter’s Basilica, but…the Basilica of Saint John Lateran?

Pope Leo XIV will be taking possession of not only the Basilica of Saint John Lateran on Sunday, 25 May, but also of the Basilicas of Saint Paul Outside the Walls (20 May), and Saint Mary Major (25 May). But why does the Supreme Pontiff have to take possession of all these sacred spaces?

Today, on the World Day of Prayer for the Church in China, let us unite our hearts in love and solidarity with our Catholic brothers and sisters in China.

Through the tender intercession of Our Lady, Help of Christians, we lift up especially those who face hardship and persecution for their faith. May they be strengthened by God’s peace, filled with courage, and comforted by the deep truth that they are never alone. 🙏

On Sunday, 25 May 2025, join in the solemn Eucharistic celebration and the official enthronement of Pope Leo XIV on the Roman Cathedra at the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran.

Pope Leo XIV will also be visiting the Basilica of St. Mary Major to venerate the Marian icon “Salus Populi Romani,” a symbol of Rome’s trust in the Virgin Mary.
