In celebration of the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV, we journey through history to discover the Popes who bore the name Leo — saints, reformers, defenders of the faith, and even those whose papacies remind us of God’s enduring mercy and sovereign guidance.
Let us pray for Pope Leo XIV, Bishop of Rome and Successor of Peter, as he begins his ministry today: 𝙈𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙙𝙤𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙮 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙝.

Ever feel restless — like no matter how hard you try, peace still feels just out of reach? The world tells us we’ll find peace when we do all the “right” things. But even after checking every box, that quiet ache can remain. Maybe you’re feeling it now — tired, stretched thin, wondering why you’re still anxious or overwhelmed.
You’re not alone. And there’s nothing wrong with you.
The peace the world gives is temporary. But Jesus offers something different: “My peace I give to you — not as the world gives.” His peace isn’t dependent on your circumstances. It meets you right where you are — in the questions, the mess, the quiet ache.
So pause. Breathe. You don’t have to have it all together. Just turn to Him. His peace is real. His love is steady. And He wants to give you the peace that you're longing for.

Did you know that the cathedral of the Diocese of Rome and the official ecclesiastical seat of the Bishop of Rome is in fact 𝙉𝙊𝙏 Saint Peter’s Basilica, but…the Basilica of Saint John Lateran ?
Pope Leo XIV will be taking possession of not only the Basilica of Saint John Lateran on Sunday, 25 May, but also of the Basilicas of Saint Paul Outside the Walls (20 May), and Saint Mary Major (25 May). But why does the Supreme Pontiff have to take possession of all these sacred spaces?

More than a festive tradition, Easter eggs remind us of something deeper: new life, new beginnings, and the hope we have in the Risen Christ.
Just as the egg breaks open to reveal life, Easter calls us to break free from the things that have held us captive—be it fear, selfishness, or indifference—and to live fully in the light of Christ.
This season isn’t just about what happened on Easter Sunday, but what’s happening in us now.
How can we live this renewed life in Christ this Easter and beyond?
🏋️♂️ 𝟰𝟬/𝟱𝟬 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗘
This week, take a moment each day to recognise and give thanks for God’s hand at work in your life—even in the ordinary, even in the struggle.

A lot of us feel like we don’t need a retreat. Life isn’t falling apart, we’re too busy, or we tell ourselves, “Maybe later.” And yet, how often do we really pause and check in with our hearts?
Taking time away — even just for a short retreat — isn’t about running from life. It’s about stepping into silence so we can finally hear what’s been buried under all the noise. It’s about letting Jesus meet us where we are, not where we think we 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 be.
Yes, you might have to pause some commitments. But trust this: God will take care of what you leave behind. He honours every moment you give Him. And when you make space for Him, He gives back in ways that gently surprise you. So maybe this is your invitation. To slow down. To step away. To let Him speak — and for once, truly listen. Will you take that step?

Today, on the World Day of Prayer for the Church in China, let us unite our hearts in love and solidarity with our Catholic brothers and sisters in China.
Through the tender intercession of Our Lady, Help of Christians, we lift up especially those who face hardship and persecution for their faith. May they be strengthened by God’s peace, filled with courage, and comforted by the deep truth that they are never alone. 🙏
