描述：接着上一集，唐僧师徒人又继续上路了。然而这日唐僧(江华 饰)发了一个噩梦，梦中故乡长安城经历了一场浩劫，一只巨猴正在大肆破坏，而为了保护义兄唐太宗，唐僧自己亦惨死！噩梦惊醒的唐僧知道自己是金禅子转世，这绝非一个简单的梦，而是上天给他的预示。于是，唐僧决定叫悟空(陈浩民 饰)、八戒(黎耀祥 饰)和沙僧(麦长青 饰)兵分三路赶回长安，阻止这场绝世浩劫。随后，唐僧还是不放心，决定不可为而为之，自己亲自步行走回长安城，阻止这场劫难。
