香港生成式AI研发中心获捐2亿港元建立港产大模型服务

InnoHK创新香港研发平台旗下的香港生成式人工智能研发中心（HKGAI）获捐2亿港元（3400万新元），用于建设港产大模型服务。据香港政府公报，香港财政司司长陈茂波星期一（3月10日）出席黄廷方慈善基金与信和集团支持香港人工智能发展捐赠仪式致辞时，感谢这两个机构为HKGAI捐赠2亿港元。陈茂波说，他在最近发表的《财政预算案》中，提出加大资源投入，以推进算力、算法、数据、人才和资金等五方面要素的提升，并加强开拓新的人工智能应用场景。他指出，预算案也预留了10亿港元，成立香港人工智能研发院，加速推动…

Telegram Gives Up On Crypto Blockchain Project

Durov said on his Telegram channel today that the two and a half year blockchain and crypto project has been put to sleep. Ironically, after leaving Russia because the government wanted his encryption keys to his social media firm, Durov’s cryptocurrency idea lost steam because of a U.S. court. “The technology we created allowed for an open, free, decentralized exchange of value and ideas. TON had the potential to revolutionize how people store and transfer funds and information,” he wrote on his channel. “Unfortunately, a U.S. court stopped TON from happening.”
